Brighten Health Group facilities are centers of excellence for rehabilitation care, providing the latest in Physical Medicine
and Rehabilitation. We are dedicated to serving individuals and their families whose lives can be enhanced through the physical and
cognitive rehabilitation.
Our rehab team includes a Physiatrist which is a Board Certified Physician that specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
He/She, along with therapists for physical, occupational and speech, devise highly individualized advanced therapies and technologies
to provide recovery.
Programs are offered for those with conditions such as stroke, orthopedic injuries and post surgical rehab, spinal cord disorders,
amputations, arthritis, Parkinson's disease, chronic pain issues and multiple sclerosis. We also specialize in joint replacement and
osteoporosis.
Levels of Rehabilitation
Skilled
Our Staff of licensed therapists is available up to six days a week to meet the needs of our short-term and sub-acute patients.
The team is involved in a comprehensive discharge plan which includes family conferences and home assessment to ensure a safe
transition to home. Medicare and some insurances cover payment for this type of therapy, however goals and outcomes are closely
monitored.
Restorative
Very often our long term care residents are unable to tolerate a fast paced therapy program, but may have potential to improve
function. Under the supervision of the licensed therapist and nurses, restorative aides provide less intensive rehabilitative
services.
